1991 Toyota MR2
This is rare, very rare car. Turn key, reliable, fast, economical to use and maintain. V6 3.0 transplant from Camry.1991 MR2 SW20 5-speed.This is a partial list of all the work done in this car:- Rebuilt transmission, new stage 2 clutch kit and throw bearing.
- Documented 3.0 Lexus/Camry engine 3VZ-1033301 V6 with low miles, ordered fromhttps://www.alnjdmautomotors.com in Texas. These are the engines installed in Camrys and 4-Runners, very reliable and provide plenty of power for this lighter platform.
- New water pump, accessories, timing belt, hoses, etc. while engine was out.
- All the wire harness was professionally done in the United Kingdom by specialized firm. (records included).
- Completelyrebuilt steering rack.
- Brand newelectricpower steering pump.
- All new front end, lowering springs, engine mounts, bushings, etc. etc. All done by certified Toyota tech.
- New seats - re-upholstered.
- Brand new Toyota 17" wheels (not used or refurbished, brand new).
- Tires have plenty ofthread left.
- Fiberglass body kit, side-skirts.
- New T-Top seals (not installed): T-tops had minor leak, and since these are no longer available and are impossible to find, I bought adonor car that was rear ended, perfect seals and additional T-Tops are included, but not installed. I sealed the t-tops with silicone.
- Swapped tail lights to 95 JDM KOUKI. Brand new longtrunk cylinder to match the new rear garnish.
- Double DIN stereo.
- Cold AC.
- Newer Celica steering wheel to substitute the old looking / outdated MR2 steering wheel. Airbag not connected, as I cannot trust the compatibility to the computer in the car. All the system is intact, and the original wheel and airbag are in the trunk. Please note that airbags expire, and after 26 years, the originalairbagis probably not good. However, it is included just in case you want to install it again.
- Turbo fog lamps (brand new) installed but not connected.
- MISHIMOTO performance radiator and fans.
- New battery.
- RAZO Heavy weight shift knob. New Toyota shifter trim and boot.
- Clear lenses and turn signals.
- Turbodeck lid (not painted) included at no additional cost.
- AMAZING RIDE, AND VERY FAST. DRIVES LIKE NEW.
- This car can be serviced by any Toyota tech. Easy to maintain and very inexpensive. High performance.
- Not raced or abused. I am not a kid anymore but love these cars.
- All gauges work, including the tachometer, speedometer, check engine light, etc.
- Over $14000 invested, extensive records. The list above is just a partial list of all the work done. And a ton of hoursthat would cost thousands. This car cannot be replicated for less than $20K.
- Selling my toys to buy a Jeep Wrangler for my daughter.

I JUST INSTALLED CHROME RINGS ON THE GAUGES, I HAD BOUGHT THESE A WHILE BACK ALONG WITH THE MODIFIED V6 TACHOMETER, WHICH ARE NOW INSTALLED AND LOOK AWESOME:
