Here is my beautiful 1975 Toyota BJ40 Land Cruiser Diesel

Being it is a diesel you know it will run forever and gets great gas mileage, over 20 MPG!

This one has the ultra dependable 4 cylinder 3B engine. It's a 3.4 liter, 98 hp 167 lb.ft (226 N.m)

This car gets your attention and is a conversational starter wherever you go.

The vehicle was imported from Costa Rica. It was taken care of and driven just enough to stay in exceptional condition. Check out the pictures

I am the 3rd owner.

Drive it anywhere and threw anything. Although being it is 4 on the floor it is probably a little slower than your car now. Top speed is about 65mph but it much prefers 58-60 mph.

Interior in excellent condition.

Original headliner

Original vinyl on most seating surfaces, original jump seats in back of truck. You can see in the pictures that driver seat seam has come undone and rear right jump seat is ripped.

About this truck:

I personally went to Costa Rica and met up with my friend who grew up in Alejuda. I found this

beauty in Heredia. The family that owned it was original from Columbia but had lived in Costa Rica for 15 years. They were amazing and the women who drove and took care of it is a fashion designer. I trust this family and they were a big help with me shipping this car back to Texas. She told me that the original owner stayed in touch and would call from time to time to see how the car was doing. Being that she drove just around the block to pick up supplies and run errands, it was kept up to date with everything. They used the same mechanic the whole time they owned it.
