************. *********** This isan original 100% (completely) rust free California Toyota 4Runner 4x4 "Survivor". This is a Auto check certified two owner/no accident vehicle. Average similar vehicles received a score of 27-50, the one offered here received an above average score of 54. This 4 runner has passed a California emissions test every time since new the last exam being on 4-08-14 when the vehicle had 176,696 miles (report available upon request). Unfortunately at the present time the engine has a blown head gasket, so it will need to repaired or replaced.
Its current mechanical status is running, however with this type of problem it could stop running completely at any time. We do not recommend driving it other than on or off a tow truck/car carrier. Although we only drove the 4Runner outside our gate at 5mph to take photos, the vehicle did go into forward and reverse gears with no issue, the transmission seemed to be in good condition. The brakes stopped fine and the suspension seemed to be in good working order. The electrical systems worked properly when tested. The air conditioning was not operable and needs to be serviced. The blower works fine. The 4x4 also engaged properly at the time of our test.
The body is 100% rust free (body, chassis and frame).The paint finish is all original and in remarkable condition for it's age. There are various dings, dents, scrapes, scratches, nicks, chips, fading, hazing, etc. The overall appearance is very clean, completely honest and untouched. There are no repaints, bondo, rust or rot. The body and undercarriage are superb and the new owner will be pleased.

The interior is also in very good original condition with no significant wear. The dash has some typical cracks. The sunroof control panel is broken (see pics). The door panels, carpeting and headliner all look good (see pics).
The vehicle comes equipped with some very good looking wheels with some curb ras, etc.. The raised letter tires hold air however upon close inspection we observed dry cracks and recommend replacing them soon.
This 4 runner gets a thumbs up for it's lovely original and solid body/patina. Mechanically it will need some TLC and in our opinion it is definitely worth fixing.
Due to the mechanical status this vehicle it is only be offered to out of state or country buyers.
