1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 SUV

Late model 1983 Land Cruiser Fj43 with great features.

This Awesome Fj43 (Vin# FJ43112585) was recently Frame on Restored by "Clean Cruisers LLC"(passionate and experience local team dedicated to the restoration of Land Cruisers). All ofthe mechanicals/electricals were inspected and repaired when needed it. Fresh Tune Up. NO RUST. Prior the restoration, we looked everywhere for signs of rust and haven't found any. I can provide a list of repairs recently done... I have sold a few Fj's in the past and every buyer had a positive buying experience and good feedback, and I'd like to keep it that way! Therefore, I've decided to have all of the work done in the States. I'm honest and try to cover as much is I can in my ads in orderto avoid questions but feel free to contact me (I can also provide the shop owner's contact info if anyone would like to obtain specific detail of the work done).

Interior:

Late model luxury dash. Knobs and switches are present and operate:

Wipers slow/fast & wiper fluid spray operational.

Choke, hazard, interior light, digital clock (recently installed).

Cigarette lighter is present and works.

There's a JVS Cd-Am/Fm radio that works great with 2 speakers .

All gauges operate correctly with the exception of the voltage meter (stuck on 50). Holds engine temp on the cool side. Speedometer is in kilometers but easy to figure the conversion to miles.

Shows 280.000km

Emergency brake light works and holds the vehicle stationary.4wd lights work.

Horn functions.

Gauges, dash,and dome lights all function.

Ac unit was re-wiredand fully serviced, blows cold air and fan works. Note: Doesn't have a heater but it can be added at new owner expense.

Front seats and jump seats in stock charcoal-grey were recently reupholstered.

Front and Cargo mat are present, used but in good condition. Driver & passenger floorboards and cargo bed are in great condition (see photos).S un visors (new) and rear view mirror are functional.

New 5-speed shift knob.

Pedal pads for brake, clutch and gas in good condition.

Glove box is clean and comes with a new inspection light.

Driver & passenger windows roll up and down properly.

Seat belts for both front seats and both jump seats (set of 4 seat belts) present and function properly.

Rubber weather stripping around the front doors are new.

Has a factory roll cage built in the hard top.

Exterior:

Body is straight, There are no scratches, dings, etc.

Recently painted factory color code 681 (paint job came out beautiful)

Turn signal, emergency, tail, head, brake, reverse,side marker and license lights are present and function properly.

All emblems front, side and rear are present.

New hood latches, windshield latches, side mirrors and antenna.

Kick vents function properly with new weather stripping.

Spare tire swings together with rear door making an easy access to the cargo area. Rear step is present.

Set of 5 New Tires BF GOODRICH 31x10.50R15A/T KO2.

Late model factory steel wheels.

Stock front bumper and rear bumperettes straight and solid.

Engine, Transmission, Frame, etc..:

Stock2F engine, runs very well. Compression test was performed and showing between 128-130 psi.

Asin locking hubs rotate smoothly.

Has a 5 speed H55f transmissionthat works great. (It can cruise between 70-75mph with no problem.) Transfer shifts into H2, H4 and L4 with no issues.

Five-speed & reverse shift smoothly through all gears.

Clutch and brake pedals are strong. Vehicle accelerates, stops and steering is straight.

It has factory power steering and factory frontdisc brakes.

Disc brakes make it safe and easy to drive theFj.

4 new shocks.

Overall the Fj rides very smooth, and you don't feel bumps like in a Jeep or a 40 series. It can be driven anywhere.

NOTE: I tried my best to make this truck a worry free, safe and reliable Fj (Daily Driver) yet at a reasonable price.
