Over the past two years maintenance work has been done by a Toyota dealership in Portland, Oregon and by the MR2 specialist, Backyard MR2 in North Carolina. The maintenance work is highlighted by the following:- timing belt replaced at just over 93,000 miles, so less than 1000 miles ago- periodic 30,000 mile service at 93,000 miles, which included all filters and fluids changed (coolant, oil, brake, transmission/clutch), seals and gaskets replaced, new rear tie rods (both sides), full alignment, and new battery.
The car also comes with a car cover, which is placed in the front trunk area.
We also have approximately 30 pages of maintenance invoices in protective plastic sleeves in a binder. The binder is in a moving shipment, which we will have access to in mid to late 2017. The binder will be sent to the next owner.
Overall this car is in exceptional original condition.
For full disclosure, items that need to be addressed, but do not impact the driving performance or safety of the vehicle:- driver's door switch does not open passenger side window (fixable)- antenna does not extend and retract (fixable)- the leather interior has some seam separation (fixable)- slight oilseepage around the distributor, possible weakening seal (fixable)
