1983 Toyota FJ Cruiser
This 1983 FJ60 was in the 2001 Movie "Bandits" whereJoe (Bruce Willis) and Terry (Billy Bob Thornton) have escaped from prison and at one point in the movie steal this Cruiser (see Pic's). I bought it off of a couple who are in the movie industry and the wife worked on the set of this movie and she bought it right off the set of the movie when it was done. She put in a New 2FEngine in August of 2001 when the Cruiser had 210843 miles on it from TOYOTA of HOLLYWOOD I have the Invoice/Receipt for the work and it was over $5K. They also had it painted and the interior redone. The paint is showing signs of wear but looks really good and people seem to gravitate to this Rig all the time.I had a NewOld Man Emu ARB 4X4 Suspension Kit installed with NEW Nitrocharger Sport Shocks, Steering Dampener, Dual Stage Leaf Springs with Bushings, Greasable Shackles, Pins, U-Bolt Kit, Sway Bar Drop Links and Extended Stainless Steel Hoses along with a few other items. I have tons of Receipts from the last 30 plus years.
