1988 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER TROOP CARRIER "TROOPY"
I have for sale a 1988 HJ75 Toyota Land Cruiser Troop Carrier I bought over from Australia.
It has a great running 2H 6cyl 4.0L Diesel Engine, 5 Speed manual transmission, A/C, Dual fuel tanks, Dual Batteries, Overhead Console, Super heavy duty roof rack, Australian Bullbar, ARB Air Locker in Rear, Brand New Tires,
This truck is quite a rare here in the States for because the were never sold here, and rare in Australia as it has zero rust, most of these toyotas were very prone to rust as was the fj40's. I am from Australia and went back to find one myself and personally picked this one as it was pretty darn original (paint, engine, interior etc) bumpers, wheels were changed but not much else until I got it.I changed the uncomfortable factory seats for the buckets in there now, (originals come with it if wanted) and put a console in.The interior is mostly all new.I grew up with these trucks and know where the rust areas are and this truck had none, to a serious buyer I have pics of the underside and the truck pre paint job. The only thing I'm not sure on is if this truck had seats in the back or not from factory, but it does have the mounting points for the seats and seat belts in the back so you could put seats in if you wanted.
The truck has done about 240K kms which is about 150K miles so not a lot at all for that engine.
It is Right Hand Drive, it can be converted to LHD if you really wanted to.
It has a CLEAN NEVADA TITLE, was imported legally (have all paperwork). Actual VIN is JT721HJ7509000145. Ebay wouldn't recognize it because it wasn't originally manufactured for the US market.
Truck looks, runs and drives like new.
