1986 Suzuki Samurai

Cool little Suzuki Samurai with ZERO ‘cancer’ rust on frame or body, just minor surface in a few small spots. Good one for restoring, or a blank slate to modify to your liking. All original unaltered Samurai with original stock 8-valve 1.3 liter Samurai motor with original functioning stock carburetor. Has headlight brush guards that you don’t see often, as well as fog lights, but fog lights do not seem to have wires connected. Has factory a/c, but of unknown condition due to the compressor did not have a belt on it when I got it in Feb 2021. Compressor clutch does engage, but with toggle switch mounted on dash, so presume original a/c switch may be bad. Not sure if just a belt will get it going, but may have just been removed to gain a bit more power from the little 1.3 liter motor. I bought it out of El Paso from a guy who had bought out of Albuquerque. I have driven it just occasionally around the neighborhood since having it. I bought a Jeep CJ7 last year with a 4 cylinder and removable top, so decided to sell this one as was a bit redundant to the Jeep and it’s purpose. This Samurai has rare removable 1 piece Full Hard Top. Runs and drives good in 2 wheel drive. In 4 wheel drive makes a little noise so likely needs transfer case repair for 4 wheel drive to work properly, but can drive just fine in 2 wheel drive until repair is made. (I do know a local person whom has a big flange transfer case for sale and I can give you his contact). Has aluminum wheels from a Geo Tracker with good matching tires. Also comes with original Samurai wheels with good but mismatched tires. Originally silver but a prior owner painted it yellow and camo’d the hood. Windows work now, but are difficult, and shifter is sloppy, but it comes with parts to fix both issues. Has one bad wheel lug bolt that needs replacing on passenger front hub. Currently has 38807 miles showing on odometer, but most likely odometer has rolled over, so likely 138807 actual mileage. Looks like it originally had a rear seat, but did not have one when I bought it, so I found one locally which will also come with it, but is worn and material does not match front seats. Has a NM title in my name, that is clear and non-salvage. Send eBay mssg if you have any questions. Pardon the dirt, but I live on a dirt road and also have New Mexico winds here blowing extra dirt.
