NICE PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED 1987 4X4 SUZUKI SAMURAI
This 1987 4X4 Suzuki Samurai is near perfect and is one of the best in Southern California in my opinion, and honestly I looked at 50 to 60 a year ago completely done and project vehicles. This Samurai will not disappoint. The 1.3L 4 cylinder runs strong and smooth with it’s 5 Speed Manual Transmission, but it still only goes 65 MPH max. I was told Most of the original 129391 miles (only 29391 show on the original odometer rolled) I was told most miles on this Samurai were from being flat towed with the tow bar behind a motorhome. This is quite common due to a cable driven speedometer. I have replaced complete Speedometer Cluster because Fuel and Temp Gauges did not function. I have read owners have pulled these super awesome little things 2500 to 3000 miles with transfer case in Neutral. My experience towing was only a couple hundred to San Diego and Temecula Wine Country and was very easy.
Samurai might possibly be one of the nicest examples around. I spent $5500.00 to paint the original color white base coat clear coat job and it shows. Pretty sure quality better than factory. Reapplied all original stripes which look fantastic. New Front Glass, all Rubber Wipers and Wiper Motor. It is worth the money and passes the UP-CLOSE Test.
Every Light and Lens has been replaced. New Pioneer 300W Bluetooth Stereo installed.
New KYB Gas Shocks
5 New 235/75R15 Goodyear Trail Runner A/T Tires (28.87” Tall) are mounted on 5 Brand New custom offset special charcoal Powder Coated15x6 Steel Wheels with Black Splined Lugs. The New front Calipers Rotors and Ceramic Brake Pads with new rear shoes stop perfect. I installed 1.5” CNC cut shackles so no rubbing anywhere on slightly bigger tires.
Heavy Duty Tow bar and Auxiliary Tail Lights with Harness included.
Interior seats carpet door panels visors etc. is all new foam and material professionally installed. Dash has no cracks and has a new Gauge Cluster as stated. New Bestop soft top with tinted windows and zip out sides just installed. Even found new rare OEM front seat belts. The Heater Valve was replaced for comfy winter driving.
New Sport Grip 3 spoke Grant Steering wheel. New Japanese OEM Shift Knob and boots installed. This Samurai is one of the most collectable investments according to Hemmings Motor News and best looking you will find cuz it started out with good bones. I built the Samurai to keep, but have too many cars and just scored a 1970 Ford Bronco that I’ve been searching for, wife said something has to go. This Samurai is so reliable it could be considered a Daily Driver.
