I purchased this vehicle almost 2 years ago, and almost immediately had to leave out of state and it sat up on blocks almost the entire time. I arrived back in AZ Abt 2 months ago. The vehicle was drivable when purchased and is drivable now (I have a video of it driving down the road at 55 mph but haven't been able to post it). Although drivable, this beast has many issues and I consider it a project, although I've driven it Abt 50 miles since purchase, I don't consider it reliable and u would be foolish to drive it any distance without thorough maintenance, I would trailer it. Here's what's been done and what I know. I have replaced the electric fuel pump, air filter, oil, upper radiator hose and plugs (NGK). It is hard starting and I sometimes, not always, have to crank it 6-8 seconds before it will start. After sitting for so long, it blew smoke out the exhaust, it cleared up after I drove it 10-15 miles. The power steering unit leaks, and the Turbo blows oil toward the firewall on high revs. Turbo definitely worked upon initial purchase, not sure it's kicking in now, at least I can't tell. The shifter goes through all forward gears and reverse but is very sloppy. I have purchased new bushing kit which will go with car, but I'm not going to install since I decided to sell. The car drives very well, straight, brakes work well, no pulling or drifting. Horn, lights, power windows and controls all work as far as I know (not sure Abt the lock button cause I'm senile). I believe this is an original paint car, although I don't warranty that to be the case. There was some surface rust that had worn through the paint and primer above driver handle, I sanded it and repainted it with Rust-Oleum. Horizontal stainless trim strip below back hatch window missing and the black trim strips below the windows are in poor condition, all glass good. I absolutely will consider your deposit forfeit if u fail to complete purchase, no matter the excuse.
