1994 Subaru SVX, Original & Unmolested, Rare, Drives Excellent, Looks Good!

1994 Subaru SVX

Up for auction is this Subaru SVX and if you've scroll down to read about this car you already know how rare these are. This one is in the best color combo of black with tan interior and turns heads like it had an Italian name on it (sort of should, he same designer, iorgetto Giugiaro, esigned for Ferrari, aserati, lfa Romeo and more) with the reliability of a Subaru. This particular car is a nice bone stock example of a car that will appreciate in value while putting many smiles on your face!
First the achilles heel of this car is the transmission and that was replaced within the last 20k miles. So no worries there. The boxer engine sounds excellent and moves this heavy AWD effortlessly. I can answer the question everyone has, es you can drive this car anywhere. Fly in and drive away.
This car is solid and drives as good as my Mercedes at a fraction of the price. To think this car was built in 1994 is amazing. It has a heavy confident feel with non boosted steering making it a joy to drive and you look forward to twisting roads. Throw it in the turns and it handles like an Indy car.
The interior is very well preserved and though the car has 178K miles it doesn't really show it. Seats are good, anels are good, ven the radio hideaway works though I think the radio amp is bad and will need to be replaced. It still plays music, ust not very clearly.
I even have the original SVX keyless remote, hough it will need new batteries.
Sunroof motor makes noise, ries to open but doesn't quite know how to do its job anymore so that will need attention.
NO RUST! This car has been free of salty northern exposure so it benefits from southern air and so do you. That said the exterior is not perfect but it still looks nice. The right fender has some waves to it and will need to be fixed, he left side has what looks to be a minor impact on the fender just forward of the door. Both can probably be fixed without having to get new panels or having to repaint. The spoiler has a couple nicks that will need to be repaired. The sides naturally have door dings from careless mall shoppers that you would expect of a car 20 years old. Black doesn't hide anything either so a call to pops a dent will fix everything almost instantly.
Trunk is clean and the spare tire is there along with the original jack and tool bag.
This is not a new car but if you have been in the market for a SVX this one is worth a look and it is being offered at no reserve!
Clear title in my name, have too many cars and this one has to go. If only the SVX was offered in a manual transmission, doubt I would ever get rid of this car!
