1963 Studebaker Avanti

This is a 1963 Studebaker Avanti R-1. Comes with a Studebaker 289 C.I. engine, original Carter AFB carburetor. Avanti white with orange interior. The orange interior was a factory option and is rare. Car is all original with 30K showing on the odometer. TMU. The car has been repainted Avanti white and looks good. It comes with factory air conditioning. A vintage air conditioning compressor has replaced the existing unit. It fits exactly where the original did and blows very cold. All the gauges work except for the clock, which is typical of an Avanti. Automatic transmission works smoothly. Starts right up cold or hot and runs very well. Tires are Tiger Paws and wheels are American. Both are brand new.
Included with car is a replacement dash from Nostalgic Motor Cars. It brand new and an exact replacement of the original dash. It cost me $2,300.00.
I also have a copy of the original window sticker, build sheet, and inspection assembly line sheets when the car was built.
This car was shipped new to California and has never been subjected to snow, ice, cold or salt. It has spent its entire life in California and Arizona. It presents very well as is or would be a great example to take to the next level.
