Vehicle DetailsHere is an all original 1934 Studebaker Dictator Special A time warp with 56,000 miles. The Special A model is also called the "Year Ahead" model, which had the 5 horizontal stainless strips along each side of the hood. It was a mid year addition. Mileage is claimed to be original from the previous owner but cannot verify. Engine runs amazing: excellent oil pressure, no overheating, Needs nothing mechanically except some minor issues (wipers not working, right rear door only opens from inside). 205 flathead 6 cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission on the floor. It is equipped with the stock mechanical brakes and stops decent but does drive like a truck with some double clutching needed to downshift sometimes from 3rd to 2nd gear. Clutch grabs very well with no slipping but pedal is hard to press in. Only surface rust with no rust through. Seats are worn but serviceable, headliner is very good but does have some minor staining. Currently registered through September 2023 with 1934 CA plates that go with the car. Shop manual and literature included. Title in my name. Only wire transfer or cash accepted. I have tried to present an honest description so there are no surprises if the buyer is purchasing sight unseen.
