1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk

Exterior
Waterfall blue and Parchment white create the two-tone exterior, with a Parchment white top. Paint, chrome, brightwork, grille and bumpers are all in very nice condition. Exterior lighting is fully functional, and matte bronze badging is intact and attached. Even the original dealer logo is present on the driver's side trunk lid. Underside is very clean, no rust or frame "fixes." Studebaker hubcaps cover the 14" wheels that are wrapped with 275/75R14 wide white sidewall tires that are virtually new.
Interior
Sky blue vinyl with heavy texture canvas and a hint of metal thread make up the front split bench and rear bench seating. Dark blue carpeting in fair condition covers the floor and is covered by rubber Studebaker aftermarket floor mats. The dash is machined circle pattern aluminum and stretches the length of the dash front. Within this are all gauges, switches, a radio and knobs for various controls. Padded vinyl finishes the upper dashboard and is untracked and not blemished. Door panels are in good condition, and door pulls need a slight rework to have vinyl overlays refitted. The same holds true for the side panel coverings around the sides of the back bench seat. The headliner is beautifully done
Drivetrain
Under the hood is a Packard 289ci V8 engine rated at 275hp. With its low body weight and powerful engine, this Golden Hawk could race from zero-to-sixty in around 7.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 125 mph. A McCulloch supercharger is attached, but not belted to integrate with engine. This addition when hooked up, raises horsepower to 275 horsepower. A fiberglass overlay on the hood was added which provided extra room for the supercharger. This engine combination powers a 2-speed automatic transmission attached to a 3.31 differential. Drum brakes are seen all around.
