1953 Studebaker Champion Sedan in Original Condition
1953 Studebaker Champion Sedan
This beauty is a true survivor with only 52,251 original miles. Original motor, trans, body and paint in very good solid condition. Good tires and brakes, and the car starts right up with the clutch ignition system. 3 on the tree, shifts smooth and comfortable. Recent rear pinion service, new gas pedal, and full inspection completed at Kelly Moss Road and Race in Madison, WI.
This is the original paint, please note that it isn't flawless. I've noticed one body ding that I tried to show in the photos. A dentless repair should fix it easily.
The heater core is missing as shown in the photos. The drivers side high beam bulb needs replaced.
Notice that one side had the correct hub caps, while the other side fits, but is incorrect for the year and model.
Notice the tear on the drivers seat. Also the carpet in the front needs replaced. The rubber boot around the throttle cable is missing.
Equipped with the iverdrive option, but I have not tested it on the road. The cable is attached and moves freely.
Delivery may be possible within 400 miles with a delivery charge.
