INTRODUCTION

The vehicle being sold is a1965 MKIII 427/SC Cobramanufactured as a “roller” by Superformance LLC, who are known as #1 in the business.Purchased in May2022 with (23) miles on the odometer.I am the 1stregistered owner of the car. She sports aRoush 427SRw/770 CFM Holley carburetor dyno’d at514/HP & 535TQ. The power is supplied into theTremec 5sp TKXtransmission and finally, through theFord Super 8.8 differential. This car wears one of the most iconic color combinations ofGuardsman Blue with Wimbledon Whitedual stripes. The footprint on tarmac is delivered by a matching set of Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires, with Front 275/35-ZR18 and Rear 335/30-ZR18 mounted on Shelby American Racing 18” Aluminum wheels secured by knock-off style safety-wired wheel/spinners, and proper Moto Lita steering wheel guides her down the road.

Upon ownership, this car has had its engine twice flushed with pure distilled water, to eliminate any contaminates that may have been present during the build, and, runs with a mix of distilled water w/Zerex G05. The internal engine lubrication system has had similar with oil. At ~500 miles oil/filter change using Roush suggested 10w30 Valvoline VR1 and a 2ndchange at ~1230 miles. Engine break-in period was performed as instructed by Roush.

The installed MSD 6A was replaced with a MSD 6AL (w/dial rpm limiting) during break-in and currently is set to a 2ndstage @ 5000). The original unit stays with the car as an plug’n play backup.

The original Nitto tires were replaced at about 500miles, as they were just flat-out horrible and trammed every line in the road. The Continentals I replaced them with are a matched series (unlike what Nitto offers) and far superior (far) in all aspects. Wheels have been removed now twice and all mating surfaces appropriately coated, then re-wired. NO LEAD HAMMER has been used to remove/install the spinners, but a special billet aluminum tool, which is part of this sale.

Some final words about this car. All of the pics you will see are not a result of some special detailer called-in to perform, but rather my normal upkeep of this car by myself.A new roller today will cost you ~$90K w/o options, engine, or transmission, or installation-of-those-items.

The vehicle and all items included with this sale, will remain at the owners’ property until the above is 100% completed. In simple terms, when full payment has been verified and completed… Buyer receives keys-to-the-car and all items included in this listing.

This car is stored on a 4-Post lift so that all aspects of the car can be reviewed. A detailed set of similar pictures have been taken within the past 10-days including the car, all paperwork that comes with the car, including a full “paper trail” from MSO to current (1st) registered owner (aka Me). The vehicle may only be driven by the me/seller under Haggarty Insurance agreement terms.
