1965 Shelby Cobra Backdraft Racing
Beautiful 1965 Shelby Cobra Backdraft Racing build #416 with 6100 miles on the clock (see pic). a 500+ hp Smeding Performance 427 Windsor engine. Aluminum heads with a lightened racing block, forged pistons, roller rockers, Victor Jr. aluminum intake, Holly double-pumper carb, Moroso high-volume oil pan, MSD ignition system, followed by a Tremec 5 speed and BMW independent rear suspension into 17" polished Halibrand style wheels. Full length headers and sidepipes give it an incredible sound. This car is fast and loud - so fast that my wife doesn't want to ride in it anymore. Something about not liking it when "her feet come up off the floorboards" when I give it gas in third gear!

Paint shines great. Black leather interior seats with 4-point harnesses. Glove box option. Fire extinguisher. Battery cutoff. Dual chrome roll bars.Carpeted trunk and aluminum fuel cell options. Always garaged and covered when not in use.I encourage you to come and see it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
I paid $67k for it a year ago but I just don't drive it very much. It's a little too loud for my wife so I end up having to go it alone. Might be interested in trades for Jaguar XKE Roadster, a mid-sixties corvette or something else interesting. Let me know what you have.
