1966 Shelby Cobra

This is an ERA Replica Shelby Cobra 427 SC with only 9,300 original miles. If you are not familiar with the ERA Replicas I have provided a link below. They have been building replica Cobras since 1981. It is widely accepted that these replicas are the most accurate reproduction available anywhere. The wheel and tire sizes are the same as the original, the wheel base is the same, the type of motor and transmission are the same. The stance is the same. The body is indistinguishable from the original car. The wheels are true knock off wheels no lug nuts like you see on other replicas. Even the windshield used is a direct replacement for the Million Dollar original cars. You cannot compare these cars to the cheaper Backdraft, Superformance, Factory Five and other replicas on the market.
Now to the car. I have the original invoice for the car from ERA. This car was built by the folks at ERA for a Doctor and NOT put together as a kit by one of their customers. The car was titled in 1994. This car has a super stiff square tube race chassis with independent front and rear suspension. The front is fitted with disc brakes and coil over shocks. In the rear is a heavy duty Jaguar XJ-6 rear end with inboard disc brakes, posi-trac, dual coil over shocks and Dana 44 axles. The motor is a late 60s Big Block FE 427 pushing about 525hp and the trans is a Ford Top Loader 4-speed. In the pics the car looks black because it's cloudy, however the car is painted dark blue. The car handles phenomenally and is very comfortable to drive and because of the rear end set up it hooks really well.
I've recently tuned some things up so it's ready for the next owner. The following are all new: Tires, distributor cap and rotor, starter relay, high performance JEGS starter, plug wires, high flow fuel pump, G-Force Race Harnesses.

There are no scratches or cracks on the body. Every gauge and light works. The car really is a blast to drive and sounds amazing.
