1965 Shelby Cobra CSX6035 in beautiful condition inside and out. This was the 35th CSX6000 car produced and is finished Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes and shows ONLY 777 MILES SINCE BUILT on November 19th, 2009. This car features the highly desirable Aluminum 452ci V8 mated to the optional 5 speed manual trans. This $25k engine option was completely built and documented by the Carroll Shelby Engine Company.

The exterior on the car is beautiful and is finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White Stripes. This cobra retains all of its paint from the factory! The body is arrow straight and all body lines are correct with no evidence of any collisions or previous work. The undercarriage is in good condition and is as clean as the day this car was built. The side pipes are original as they were ordered as an option when the car was built. The 15" "knock off" wheels are wrapped in their original tires which have lost some of the original lettering but are in excellent condition as the car has always been stored in a climate controlled environment.
The interior is in mint original shape all around. The black vinyl seats (correct to original 1965 spec) have no tears or ware spots and look great. Both door panels, console, dash and carpet are very good condition. The Shelby wood steering wheel has been well preserved and shines like new! All Shelby gauges and switches are functional. This Cobra was ordered with a glove box and it has been autographed by Carroll Shelby!
Mechanically, this Cobra runs great. The 452ci V8 is a very fast motor and this Snake FLYS! The motor was based as a legendary 427ci and bored and stroked out to 452ci. The engine compartment has no power robbing options so all 513hp go to the drive train! It is mated to a optional fully synchronized Tremec TKO600 5-speed. The engine compartment was designed with attention to detail such as OE Spec hoses, coolant tank, and fuel lines used throughout. This car drives straight and true and is extremely tight in the suspension thanks to the coilover suspension. The brakes are also all new and in very good shape and stop the car perfectly. This car needs nothing and is ready to cruise on a sunny day or hot summer night.
Even with the low miles, this car shows the typical rear fender chipping caused by rocks being thrown out by front tires that all Cobra's share. They have been cleanly touched up with correct touch up paint which is included with sale. Also included with sale is the custom fitted embroidered Cobra car cover. this car is a museum piece and is the highlight of anything built in the Shelby continuation series cars.
All in all, this is one very clean and well-done '65 Cobra Continuation car. This car gets you all of the fun and appeal of a true 427 SC without the million dollar price range. This car is a great example of a solid, well-documented car which has been meticulously built and can be enjoyed for years to come.
