I purchased this car with 39,500 miles & drove it the summers of 1983 - 1985. I am aSAABfactory trained tech, SE Master Tech Certified and owned & operated "The Swedish Solution, nc. (Saab & Volvo performance specialist in N.E Ohio since1982).This particular 99 was originally sold in the desert of California and has never seen snow or salt! I purchased this car from the second owner in 1983.
I built the car including;
European headlights & grill, ood louvers to extract heat, urbo Inter-cooling,] water injection, ylinder head build including Motorsport double valve springs & camshaft, olished head ports, ew valves & guides, xhaust valve guides machined oversize to allow for more valve stem expansion, ew TRW pistons, ings, od and crankshaft bearings, urbocharger, AAB OE steel water pump, iming chain, uides & tensioner. The reciprocating assembly (rods, istons and crank) were balanced. Obsessively de-burred the outside casting of the block.Transmission overhauled and new clutch disc, ressure plate, hrow out bearing and slave cylinder were installed. H & R front and rear sway bars, oni adjustable shocks front and rear. Saab factory trailer hitch, lackurethanepaint, inal polish with Kleenex! Recaro style front seats, AAB center console with VDO guages, enwood stereo with 2 Kenwood amplifiers ( speakers are needed). European cat-less exhaust, itapaldi steering wheel, n-cracked front spoiler, resh painted Inca wheels and 5 new tires.

• Louvered hood paint slight "storage blanket mark" (Buff and wax)

VEHICLE NO. 2 1978 SAAB 99 TURBO CARDINAL RED
This 99 turbo would be easily restored. It does not appear to have ever been in an accident. The body does have average to minor rust. The interior front seats are from a later model SAAB 900. All of the parts to make this car complete are available from the third car (EMS), r included, uch as a new front spoiler, il cooler etc. I believe the car was from Ohio. The odometer reads 152k.
VEHICLE NO. 3 1978 SAAB 99 EMS CARDINAL RED
This 99 EMS had a 1978 SAAB 99 Turbo engine and transmission installed into it. It has the EMS style wheels. The car was from Oregon. The body and interior are poor with rust and holes in it. However, dobelievethe chassis is solid. I also recall the car ran well before I parked it, ut cannotguaranteeit. This car provides nearly a spare everything for the two other cars!
Vehicle #1 is rock solid, ast, nd wonderful to drive. The car is ready to drive anywhere, ny distance. Vehicles #2 and #3 do not run and will need to be towed or shipped. I can help you arrange shipping.
I have clear titles to all three cars.
The parts alone are worth thousands. I do not want to split this package up.
