PLEASE DO NOT MAKE AN OFFER IF YOU HAVE NO READ THE DESCRIPTION BELOW AND/OR CANNOT STICK TO THE TIMELINES OR STORAGE OPTION LISTED!!!
I HAD INTENDED TO PUT THIS UP AS A NO RESERVE 7 DAY AUCTION WITH A 999.99 OPENING BID BUT...I GUESS I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION AND LISTED IT AS A BUY IT NOW. SO, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED, THROW IN AN OFFER.

Here is my 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible. This car is a PROJECT, so please read the description entirely. the car has apparently been sitting in a garage for a LONG time.
I bought this recently, with the intend to have it repainted, interior reupholstered and then sell it.... unfortunately the shipping company raised it's price substantially and we're moving in a couple weeks. SO.... i'm dumping it No Reserve!! it MUST be picked up by 6/1/23! if it is not, i will have to put it into a storage facility nearby at THE BUYERS EXPENSE! so please do not bid unless you can pick it up by june 1st or are willing to pay storage fee's (which would be between YOU and the storage facility! but i am willing to take it to a facility 1.5 miles from my home). i'd prefer payment in cash upon pickup but you can pay on ebay aswell as other online payment formats.
with that stated:
all i have done is wash the car, and wipe down the interior. i put fresh fuel in it and checked the fluids.
Exterior: This appears to me to be an arizona/surrounding area car. it is super clean from a rust standpoint (i.e. i saw none) i saw a couple spots of light surface rust. but nothing at all serious. However the paint has seen better days and most of the clear is coming off. the rubber bump strips have come off most of it, and the left market light is broken as can be seen. glass is all good. top is "ok"...it's dirty, and has an approx. 5" cut in it that i believe could be easily sewn. i'd give the exterior a 6/10 rating.
Interior: it's.... ok. carpet is in good physical condition but needs cleaned. seats are usable but need reupholstered, dash had the fake wood grain and the previous owner tore it off..poorly. so it doesn't look the best. dash cap has cracks in it. i'd give the interior a 5/10 rating.
Mechanical: i have NOT put many miles on this (under 3?). however i buzzed it around the neighborhood and it seemed to drive ok, turbo produced boost and it pulled good. a/c does NOT work but looks complete (R12). transmission seemed to shift ok (i only took it up to about 45mph). the reason for not driving it more is that is has a pretty good front main? oil leak (right by the firewall) i noticed this after my short test drive, so i then let it run in the driveway for about 45min (while monitoring fluids, temps, etc...), and it did not overheat nor did it smoke or make any odd noises. i did not try stop leak or anything like that, i was planning to deal with it when i got moved and had a lift.
other: the top functions, the windows all function, it seems to start/run ok but the battery is not appropriate for it. it has a clean/clear arizona title with box a original miles. the radios do not work, the wipers were fine till i washed the motor off and now they kept running so i took the fuse out (i'm hoping it'll be fine once it dries out). the drivers power seat worked, i did NOT test the passenger seat. hood popper works, doors open/close properly. there is a new trunk?? lock included with key. i do not have a door key, just ignition. i have BOTH mirror glasses that are in good shape but not glued on. i did not try the seat heater as it was 115 in the sun today.......uhm..... not sure what else.
uhm.... yeah, so basically it's a project car. i would advise against driving it until the oil leak is fixed (it's a drip but it's a decently fast drip). the car has no rust i could find aside from a little surface rust in the engine bay. body doesn't have any major damage aside from paint and the left marker, interior isn't in horrible shape..... OH the tires are great looking but OLD. it would be an amazing car to restore.
I have more photo's but ebay only allowed 12.... so if you'd like more, feel free to "contact seller" and ask!
