Rare 1990 SAAB 900 S slantnose notchback in cherryröd. Purchased from a long-term (25yrs) owner in March 2021. Has proven to be an exceptionally reliable car, especially for its age. Drives beautifully, shifts smooth, engine is strong and happy.

Nearly everything the 900 has needed has been taken care of by the previous owner. Below is a list of what I've had done during my ownership:

--2021--

-Set of Bilstein shocks (Installed by Marion Saab in Sacramento)

-Oil change (Liqui-Moly 10w40)

-Bosh oil filter

-Bosh spark plugs

-Optima Red Top battery

-Found a very rare set of tan all-weather floor mats!

-Thule roof rack with rare, period-correct Thule bike carrier (came with a cool 80s Thule catalog too!)

-Replaced cracked taillight

--2022--

-Complete suspension bushing overhaul with Powerflex polyurethane bushings (installed at Saab Replay in Berkeley)

-Brand new set of Yokohama Avid tires

-Installed rare set of factory Saab 900 mud flaps

-Swapped out the original Sunbursts for the Turbo91 short spokes

-Replaced cracked grille

The good:

-Complete vehicle history. Meticulously maintained and loved by the previous owner, and I continued to love and maintain it under my ownership.

-Clean California title

-Passes SMOG

-Power sunroof (no leaks!)

-Power windows

-Heated seats!

-All electric components work.

-Paint is in great shape. Zero Rust. Has lived in California all its life and always garage-kept.

-No leaks (except power steering, see below)

-No overheating issues whatsoever. Survived 110+ degree Sacramento Summers, took it like a champ.

-Interior is in great shape, only a couple call-outs (see below)

-Have both original keys!

-Shown at Radwood 2021 at the San Mateo Fairgrounds

The Not So Good:

-Small power steering leak. I top it off with Febi PSF monthly, the reservoir is usually 1/4" below the full line by then.

-Odometer is stuck at 120k. Previous owner estimated it was closer to 160k and I trust them. I estimate that I've put ~7k miles on it during my ownership.

-Reverse lights aren't working. Could be a switch, could be the bulbs, I haven't investigated.

-There's a 2" dent on the rear passenger wheel arch and the trim is missing. I purchased it this way, never really bothered me.

-Couple scuffs on the bumpers. It spent almost 30 years in SF, what can I say?

-While the leather is in great shape, there are a few "dry patches" on the rear seats, mainly the headrests. I think some proper conditioning would restore it.

-Some stitching on the passenger seat needs fixing

-The interior rattles about as much as you'd expect a 33yo car would
