Here is a clean and 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible.We are offering this vehicle on one of our no reserve auctions and we will sell to the high bidder. This car was sold by the estate of the second owner and we have described the vehicle accurately as we see it. Please review the description and feel free to reach out for further information. The current condition of this vehicle makes it a great candidate for preservation in a garage as this rare model is hard to come by or drive and enjoy as it is.
The exterior of this Saab 900 Turbo Convertible is finished in black. The overall condition of the exterior is good for the age. Factory alloy wheels with a matching set of tires in fair condition. All glass, plastics, lenses and trim are in good condition. Both headlights have broken mounting brackets, they are secure but loose and will need repair. The cloth convertible top is in near new condition with no rips or tears. This car needs a good buff and polish to really come alive! The convertible top operates up and down with ease. I have noticed it needs a little push to get started on the way down when it is cold outside.
The interior is in good condition as well; finished in contrasting tan leather with tan carpets and trim. The leather is in good condition throughout with minimal wear on the drivers outer bolster and some separatedstitching on passenger seat. Dashboard vents and gauges are all in order, there are a couple very minor hairline cracks on the dashboard near the defroster vents. All climate control functions are in great working order with air blowing from selected vents. The AC is not blowing cold and the heat is working well. Other factory options including power seats, cruise control, and power windows are all working as designed. The factory radio is present but the power antenna mast needs to be replaced.
Mechanically speaking this vehicle is solid. This SAAB has been used daily in the Santa Monica area, the car runs and drives strong and is a pleasure to tour around in. The transmission is in good order as well and shifts up and down as it should. There is evidence of a minor oil leak in the front of the engine which will need attention in the future.
