1979 Brazil made Bug Eyed Avallon kit car on Chevette platform and engine trans
1979 Replica/Kit Makes Avallon
Great start with this dual spare tire well all fiberglass body kit car project.Actually the engine will start and run as it is but the fuel pump is out and it takes a can of gasoline to start it.Clutch and 4 speed transmission shift fine.Heavy Fiberglass and the doors open and close with the latches. The hood hinges need replaced and I hesitated to even show the ugly head lights that somebody made out of antique Spittoons but they go with it.Stock Chevette wheels and good tires give you a start. The trunk/ hump hides the gas tank and it has a saddle tank with the fill tube in the wrong place for it to come out the hole designed for it.Body looks crack free and with some TLC and time, it would make a fun little Sunday driver. What looks like a roll bar slips on the posts and the small tube fame is most likely made to support a soft top (nothing included but what you see) It seems these were made in Brazil and specifically imported to the US for installing on the Chevrolet Chevette platform. As shown in the photos the windshield glass is cracked. It's been is the barn for many years and now needs to be in your garage. This car is located in Kansas City, Kansas and is available for you to take a look most anytime but will need you to contact me thru eBay messages for an appointment to do so. There is NO title for this car and a clean bill of sale will go with it. We have no problem holding this for a few weeks after complete payment has been made while you make arrangements for the transportation.
