Description:

1982 Porsche 928

I bought this car in 2013 and completed building it in 2016. Much was done as far as body and mechanics. This is a crate race motor LS3 515/520. I rebuilt the motor in 2014. It only had 1,500 miles on it when I got it from a friend. He had it in a "58 Corvette. He wheel standed the car, missed 2nd gear, and spun a barring. I got it and rebuilt it. Motor is around 525 HP. Other than the engine, nothing has been touched, all the way from block back, is all Porsche. This car even has the original brake pads on it. Mileage is true; however, the worm gear is broken now. 750 Holley, dual 3-inch exhaust all the way out. not easy to do (very tight). This motor has probably has 2,000 miles on it. I barely drive it. When I do drive it, I change my mind about selling it, but I have decided it is time to go. It does show its age a bit, but it really is in great condition. It sat for 15 years before I got it.If you have an interest in this car, I highly recommend you give me a call @ 203-314-9281, Bruce Pierpont. There is way too much to write out. The car is located in Wilmington NC and always garaged, with a cover. Many extra parts will come with this car. Passenger door, another set of 19-inch rims, 12-inch rear tires, 9-inch front tires (width). It is flat black not hot rod black. The throw-out bearing needs to be replaced, although the clutch works fine. I have the new throw-out bearing. You will see in the photos 2 switches. The one next to the seat is the fuel pump, the one in front of the seat, on the floor, is a main kill switch.Needless to say, the car is pretty quick and a blast to drive. I would be willing to meet the buyer halfway delivery of car if close enough. The 928 S models were posi traction cars. Again, please call/text with any and all questions.
