1 of just 31 built of the first Porsche Cup Car. These were ordered by Porsche Canada as option delete cars. These cars had no sunroof, no power accessories, no AC, no power steering, no undercoating or sound insulation. These have M474 suspension with 220 Limited slip and weighed 2,688 pounds. Customers had to purchase the car with the express purpose of running in the Canadian series with the selling dealer sponsoring them. All cars were dyno tested to ensure all of the engines were within 2 hp.
This particular car was raced in 1986 and 1987 by Brian Malcolmm with final standings at 16th in '86 and 5th in '87. The car today remains in excellent, as raced condition and is a very authentic example of just a few remaining cars. Recent service, new street tires and has a clear title so can be street driven.
