1985 Porsche 911

Selling a very rare and collectible triple black, Euro-Spec Porsche 911 DP Carrera Cabriolet. Car has been under the same ownership for 38 years. Purchased in Germany and taken directly to DP Motorsport in Cologne for the conversion and then shipped to the US. The car entered the port of Jacksonville, FL and was federalized by United Auto Conversions in Marietta, GA in Sept of '85. Motor vehicle emissions test paperwork and EPA certification letters are all included and the car has had a clear Ohio title ever since. The car changed ownership for the first time last year in December and is now for sale due to health reasons. The car has well documented 26,229 miles.DP Motorsport has been in the business of building race car bodies since 1973. They developed the slant nose 935 Porsches that won numerous races around the world, including the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Kremer 935 Turbo race cars were all DP Motorsport designed and built bodywork.DP Motorsport installed the following on this 1985 911 Carrera: the Turbo-Look wide-body steel fenders, front fiberglass spoiler with oil cooler and fog lights, rear extended fiberglass spoiler, custom leather center console with gauge pack and red cassette holding trays, DP 200 MPH speedometer and custom three spoke leather steering wheel. The car is in extremely nice condition. I can't stress this enough. Only driven on occasion, on the nicest of days. The Euro specification 911 Carrera engine produces a lot more horsepower than the US market cars. This example has 231 HP.Ebay does not recognize Euro VIN numbers when entering a vehicle for sale. Here is the VIN: WP0ZZZZ91ZFS151317. Clear Ohio in the owner's name.Factory options include:Triple black paint (exterior, interior, canvas top)Full leather interior including dash and doorsPower operated and electric heated Sport SeatsPower door locksPower windowsCruise ControlAir Conditioning (has been updated to R134 and works great)Blaupunkt Koln radio cassette playerThe car has been well maintained over the years and has recently been serviced. Work included new brake rotors and pads, safety inspection, fluid flush, new Continental Super Contact tires. The convertible top is in like new condition. The paint is in extremely nice condition. The pictures don't do it justice. The leather Sport Seats are soft and supple, not hard and worn as you would usually find in a convertible. Again, I cannot stress this enough...the car is in really nice condition. The same goes for the engine and transmission. Everything works and sounds as it should. The car runs and drives great. Just love that classic air-cooled, flat six sound. It's even more pronounced with the top down. I just love it.Please feel free to contact me with questions, picture or video requests.Car is located in Columbus, Ohio. Thanks for taking the time to take a look at this very special 911. If you'd like to watch an informative video on DP Motorsports, there is one video on Youtube that I think does a great job of explaining the history and significance of owning one of these cars.Enter Magnus Walker DP into Youtube search. He does a fine job.Enjoy,Mark
