Since last year work on the car has included powder coating the wheels, adding “turbo” side graphics, reupholstering the seats in tan Nappa leather with Pepita cloth inserts, overhauling the fuel-injection system, replacing the crankshaft seals and other engine seals, dry-ice cleaning the underside, and installing a MOMO steering wheel as well as a short shifter kit and replacement gold-anodized Fuchs wheels. Power is provided by a 3.0-liter flat-six that was overhauled in 2019 and is paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The body was refinished in white under prior ownership and features a sunroof, a whale tail rear spoiler, air conditioning, power windows, and a Blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Montana title (arriving in four to six weeks) The body was finished in Copper Brown Metallic at the factory and was repainted in white under previous ownership. Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, fog lights, a whale tail spoiler, a rear wiper, headlight washers, dual side mirrors, and European-specification rear bumperettes. Paint correction was performed, LED lights were installed, the sunroof seals and washer nozzles were replaced, and gold “turbo” side graphics were applied in 2022. Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are finished in gold and mounted with Riken tires measuring 225/50 up front 245/50 out back. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs, and the brakes and suspension were reportedly overhauled prior to the seller’s purchase. The cabin was re-trimmed in 2022 with work including reupholstering the seats in tan with Pepita cloth inserts, dyeing the door and trim panels, and replacing the carpets and sun visors. Rennline pedals and billet dash knobs were added along with a mahogany shift knob, a RennShift short-shift kit, Coco mats, aftermarket speakers, and a Blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. A MOMO steering wheel and 1″ hub extension were installed in 2022 along with a Heuer Trackmaster timing set on the passenger-side of the dashboard. Instrumentation consists of a centrally mounted tachometer with an inset boost gauge, a 300-km/h speedometer, combination gauges, and an analog clock, all of which were rebuilt prior to the seller’s purchase. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 95k kilometers (~59k miles). The 3.0-liter flat-six was overhauled in 2019 by Fabson Engineering of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Work included refurbishing the cylinder heads, connecting rods, crankshaft, rocker arm shafts, fuel distributor, and turbocharger as well as replacing the piston rings, timing chains and tensioners, bearings, fuel accumulator, fuel injectors, oil lines, and CDI ignition box. Aftermarket cylinder head studs and a Tial wastegate were also installed. Service under current ownership has included overhauling the fuel-injection system and replacing fuel accumulator, the front and rear crankshaft seals, and the turbocharger and exhaust seals. The CV axle joints were greased and the boots replaced in 2023, the exhaust and fan were powder-coated, and the underside of the car was detailed using dry-ice cleaning.
