Purchased new from Brumos Porsche by my Uncle in 1960. The car stayed in the SE US its entire life. In 1989 I purchased the car built into an SCCA race car. It evolved into a very very light and fast SCCA EP car over the 70s, 80s and 90s -> 1630 lbs with driver until SCCA (AKA The Miata Club of America...) pushed her into FP (now carrying 200+ lbs of lead to weigh 1860 lbs)
14.5:1 Compression Ratio, Carillo Rods, Ti Push rods, 1600 CC with Venolia Pistons), Elgin Cam, Tilton Clutch and Flywheel (6 lbs). Electromotive Crank Fired Ignition. 8k+ RPM. James Cox exhaust. She makes over 200 HP (actually +!)
