You are bidding on a true Porsche survivor, in metallic blue graphite, with 77K original miles. In 1980, Porsche launched the 928 at the Geneva Show in Geneva, Switzerland; and two years later Porsche introduced this model to the U.S. market.The next year, Porsche introduced the 928S, which looked the same as the original, but the big change was under the hood. The 240-hp V-8 engine had been replaced with a bigger 4.7 liter which was tuned to produce 296 hp.

The 928S cost $10,000 more than the original base model. It included a distinctive new front and rear spoiler. New 16-inch wheels replaced the original ‘telephone dial’ rims. It also hada remodeled bumper and integrated spoiler wing contoured into the hatch, which generated additional rear downforce.The larger engine could generate 428Nm torque at 3700 and accelerate from 0-60 in 5.9 seconds.

For pricing & values, JD Power & Associates provides the original MSRP at $50,000. Current retail for this 928S is $14,800 for low retail, $19,900 for average retail, and $26,400 for high retail.

This Porsche 928S is a survivor. It has been stored in garage since 2020. Ibought it three years ago. I had goals of restoring it, but alas I had too many other projects.

The blue anthracite paint is original. The body panels are almost perfect. The frame is strong and rust free. Leather interior is in very goodcondition. The engine was running and turns over and it needs a starter and coil.The clear coat is faded on the top. It will needs two new front tires.Otherwise, the car is in good condition.
