Posting for a friend. 1984 Porsche 944 Barn Find. Not really. Parked over 20 years ago during a family transition and not driven since. The car spent its entire life either in a garage, or under a cover. But the current owner who inherited it from a passionate car geek was not similarly inclined. During its long storage, there was significant rodent damage. Nothing a competent mechanic couldn't fix, but enough that it will not run in its current state.
As a car restorer myself, but of a different kind (50- 60's Cadillacs) All this rubber and wiring would have to be replaced anyway in a reasonable restoration.
Will try to answer questions as asked, but am overseas so expect at least a half day delay.
