Introduced in1989, the 944 S2 was the final evolution of Porsche’s acclaimed water-cooledtransaxle sports car and was the first of its kind to be offered in a Cabrioletversion. This 1991 Porsche 944 S2 is one of less than 3k Cabriolets sold in theUnited States during the model’s three-year production run and comes finishedin Alpine White over a Midnight Blue interior. It comes equipped with a 5-speedmanual transaxle and benefits from a recent timing belt service as well as anupgraded Racing Dynamics performance chip and Speedline-style multipiecewheels. The redesigned 944S2 model is distinguishable from its predecessors by a more rounded nose andrear valence borrowed from the 944 Turbo model along with “16 Ventiler” scriptbadges on the front fenders. This example is finished in Alpine White with ablue cabriolet top and features European-style lenses in the front bumper, sidemarkers, and rear taillights. The car rides on a set of aftermarket 18”Speedline-style wheels with Porsche-crested center caps and General G-Max AS-05Ultra High-Performance All-Season tires.
