Porsche 914 Project "NO RESERVE"
1972 Porsche 914
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY
Definitely is not a “for the weak at heart” project- There is some work to be done here. These two 914s came into my possession last year around this time and I had every intention on combining them into one decent driver, but they have moved too far down the priority list and I don't see me working on them for some time, if ever so here we are
This sale will include;
· One 1972 “Roller” Porsche 914 with a free spinning (not frozen1.7L)
· One Clean Titled 1974 “Roller” Porsche 914 with a good Running 1.8L
(Both have their respective transaxles)
And
· Every Porsche 914 Related part that has been Photographed and uploaded to the below linkSo, Before Father Time Came by, The Plan Was;
The dull silver (lowered) -74 would be the donor car for the Bolt-Ons and possibly the Engine (depends how the 1.7 runs).
Because the primer gray ‘72 has had both the Longs and Hell Hole fixed (although I would clean some of the welds up) and has much less body rust than the ’72 it would be the driver. This car (the ’72) still has a fair amount of rust, however nothing structural and nothing that would require a Rotisserie to repair. The worst two areas are the front pass-side fender and the front deck lid which I have good replacements for both (see link) and of course are included in the sale.
I believe I have captured all of the ‘72’s trouble spots and additional parts included in the attached link.
After inventorying at my purchase of this project it appears that a windshield, door glass, brake lines and light lenses will still need to be purchased to be road ready. Cosmetically carpet and the remaining rubber (roof and deck lids) is needed.
I am,
selling these cars and parts as one package no individual parts will be sold.
I can,
assist with shipping (packaging etc.) but delivery is on the buyer
and
I will
answer any questions and will elaborate further on the condition of the cars or any of the parts included: ig.”the four seats are free of tears and cracks”/ “the two Weber ICT 34’s are from Spain but should have a gasket kit installed” etc.
A $500 deposit is required within 24 hours after the end of bidding and the balance is due within 3-business days after the sale unless other arrangements have been made with me prior to the start of the bidding.
Please do not bid unless you intend to buy
I have a 100% rating over the course of many years and intend to keep that score, hence all reasonable concerns will be addressed and resolved.
