Vehicle DetailsThis 1975 Porsche 914 is a presentable original example and very strong driver. Scarlet Red with black interior (painted in 2022). Very nice and clean interior. Seats and door panels have been recovered in new vinyl. It has new carpet and the dash dash restored with a retro styled Bluetooth head unit and speakers to fit the era of interior. There is some minor cracking on the original vinyl center section. All new tires have been installed inckuding the spare. Brand new master cylinder and rear brake flex lines. A solid, straight, and honest drivers car. These little classic targa-topped Porsches have all of the right ingredients for an enthusiast car with their lively mid-mounted 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed gearbox (fresh fluids and all shift bushings replaced). The car originally had fuel injection but was converted to dual Weber IDF40s before I purchased it. The mid-engine design makes these cars a blast to drive and keeps them planted through the corners. It has four wheel disc brakes with new master cylinder, flex hoses and fluid. Riviera style wheels and brand new tires all around (including spare). The car has some rust in the lower rear floor boards rear of the seats. From what we can see it's not structural as the longs, engine mounts and hell hole areas are solid.
