No, this is not a Speedster replica. This a very rare "Cabriolet" (ever seen another?)
with a full-height windshield (so you can sit up), nice roll-up windows and working wing windows.
Very true to the actual 1965 T5. Many of the parts are actual Porsche parts from the lights to the seats to the convertible frame. Badged as a "Porsche Super 90"
Titled as a 1982 "Rec" - (Model: "Pors")
VIN plate shows Fiberfab International... but they went out-of-business in 1979 or 1980. ??
People who have looked at the car tell me they are positive this was built by Intermeccanica. However, a few of the parts (windows) are stamped "Made in Brazil by Envemo". (Envemo made quality kit cars too).
This is very high quality, thick fiberglass. Such high quality that Porsche dealers had these cars (this car too) on their showroom floors in the early 1980's to generate interest when interest rates were 22%.
Beautiful new Guards Red paint. Fiberglass is flawless - no waves, no cracks (of course no dents nor rust)

No, this does not have a little 1600cc nor 1750cc engine. This has a Bernie Bergmann (see: www.bergmannvw.net) 2.4 liter engine with oil-cooled, twin Weber 42's. Lots of torque and fast acceleration!

Runs awesome.
4-speed manual transmission with "Freeway Flyer" 4th gear. Cruises nicely, up hill at 70+ mph.
A little more technologically improved car over a '65 with a 12 volt system, a strengthened tube VW tube-frame with more leg-room, locking ignition and disc brakes on all corners.
15" wheels and new tires
Interior is in very good condition but this car is 40 years old and showing a bit of "patina" = starting to show a bit of wear on the driver's seat. Mostly new carpet
All gauges work including the clock
New top included (I have) - needs to be installed
