1981 Porsche 911

Gorgeous, mature owner and well cared for. Hard to beat an air-cooled classic and iconic sports car! This little beauty is deserving of a good home. Purchased in 2012 so I have all service records from that point on. Maintained by Sports Cars Garage in Palm Desert, CA, well-known for their work on the Coachella Valley's (and beyond) exotics (ask for Jason). All black as you can see. Paint and interior are in great condition. Mainly just get her out for local cruising or to take to shows. I stay off the freeway as I am deathly afraid of getting rock chips. I recently added the "Carrera" decals on both sides just cuz I thought it would enhance the overall look, even though it's not a Carrera. Regardless of what some might think, I've received many compliments on them, but I know you 'purists' out there might be having convulsions! If you don't want them they are easy to remove. The dash is in great shape. I use a dashmat to insure that it stays that way.
Tires have a lot of tread, A/C works as well as the clock. Aftermarket stereo will play a disc, satellite radio (w. a subscription), local radio, or what I do mostly - plug an adapter in (there is a hole for that) and using my i-phone listen to my favs on Pandora. I have had her repainted once, the chrome rims look fantastic, and the chrome bezels around the headlights really complement the look. Car runs great and shifts properly. All receipts available since I took ownership a little overt 10 years ago. Lights, turn signals, wipers and clock operate. Horn and cruise control do not. If you've never owned one of these and you love to drive, it should be on your bucket list! If you have owned one, no further explanation is needed!
