This car was an original street RS America and was transformed into a race car at about 31K miles. It was raced with PCA club racing with some success with podium finishes.
It was later acquired by LN Engineering/Bilt Racing Services in IL and the car was not registered for street use. It was raced and maintained by them until i acquired the car in 2018. LN Engineering is an after market Porsche high performance product manufacturer and the car was rebuilt by them top to bottom with many LN Engineering parts installed. I then returned to its current streetable form and was finished in 2020. Please see attached worksheet.
This car is fabulous both in performance and appearance. It is much faster than the stock RS America and the handling may even surpass a real RS.
The original RS America seats, 17” cup wheels, the rear wing were sold off by the previous owner. The rear wing is now a composite Carrera 4 (Leichtbau) lightweight wing, the seats are a pair ‘93 Carrera RS Touring duel tone grey and black leather seats with adjustable backs. The bare floor is now covered in Silverknit black RS carpeting with embroidered Carrera RS America logo. The race roll cage was modified to resemble the RS factory cage. The door bars now covered with light grey hand stitched leather to match the seat color. A set of forged Rays TE37 18” staggered wheels shoed with Yokohama 032 R compound dot tires. This car is equipped with a British made racing electric power steering pump to provide light touch steering. New light weight battery, trunk kill switch as in the factory RS cars.
The Good: a limited production (701) RS America in excellent mechanical condition. Known ownership and maintenance history by each owner. Mechanical rebuilt by LN Engineering, I’m a racer and Porsche enthusiast. Beautiful high quality paint work in original GP white. Performance may surpasses a stock RS. Subtle interior and exterior stands apart from the stock RS America.
The not so good: if you are a collector and wants a trailer queen…missing stock fabric seat, original rear wing, 17” cup wheels, 1/4 panel RS decals, underbody plastic shields, original headliner, rock and sand chips on the front under carriage areas.

LN Engineering/Bilt racing services
1. Engine rebuilt top and bottom end. With 1 hour track test time and less than 600 miles of street driving. Rebuilt G50 trans, new duel clutch n pressure plate, new brake discs and Pagid pads, all fluid replaced.
2. Work performed by Of Wire and Metal Restoration in Temecula Ca. 43223 Business Park Drive, Temecula CA 92590. (951) 390-3800.
1. New stainless header n exhaust system by Fabspeed with heat exchanger.
2. Heater pipe installed
3. New belts and fan pulley ( European Motorsports, Vista Ca. (760) 599-9307.
4. New chip by Steve Wong to use 92 Octane gas.
5. Remove all interior, doors, fenders, windshields, hood, engine lid, rocker panels, bumpers, modify roll cage, fire system, radio system, carbon dash and clean up wirings then repainted the car inside and out in GP white.
6. All new rubber seals for entire car.
7. Reinstall crash beam, shocks and oem bumpers. Modify left rear bumper for duel exhaust outlets.
8. Remove exterior kill switch and tow hooks
9. Custom paint light weight rear wing to resemble stock rear wing
10. Modify stock dash board to fit roll cage at A pillar
11. Reinstall all dash board components and parts
12. Install original door panels
13. Custom new headliner with OEM material. Install custom LED interior lights. The original won’t fit due to roll cage clearance
14. New black Silverknit RS carpet with red embroidered Carrera RS America logo
15. OEM RS Carrera Touring leather seats, duel tone black and grey leather with adjustable backs
16. Scroth 5 point harness
17. Replace race coil over shocks with Bilstein PSS9 coil over units for street n track use. Ride height and corner balanced.
18. Stagger 18” Rays TE37 forged wheels (rare) in Bronze color with Yokohama A032 dot tires.
