Vehicle DetailsFrom what I understand, the car was sold new in California where it resided for many years before moving to Texas. I have owned the car for a little less than a year. I purchased the car as a project and have spent a little over $11k to get it running and road worthy. The car still needs interior and body/paint work. I also suspect the transmission may need to be rebuilt as there is some play when shifting between gears.
Work includes replacing intake manifold and seals, correct vacuum lines, replace ignition cable set, replace ignition wire set, replace all fuel injectors, brake fluid flush, replace joint boots and shafts, replace torque tube - driveshaft, replace sway bar links, new Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires (2 miles), replace coolant reservoir, rewrites electric fan, replace fuel gauge sender and replaced all wheel bearings. All work was performed by licensed professional mechanics.
