Provenance:
Very early very rare 1 of only 6 Original complete survivors from the first 100, 912's ever made. The first 100 cars are extremely rare, and are the most valuable and collectible.See sales of very early cars attached on the last 6 photos. One of the very early from the first 100 made recently sold for $3.3Million USD.Porsche Museum in Germany found it's earliest 911 #57 300057, but it was a rust bucket, they had to rebuild it using parts from other later cars. (See article in photos). #83 Porsche 911 price €800K Euros, which at that time was $1Million dollars. There is also a sale of Car #138 in condition 3 for $850K. #136 is for sale now for over $1.1M...Most of these cars have been restored. This car has always been garaged, hardly driven in the rain, has the original turn signals and tail lights stamped 1964 in very good condition, has original windows, original material around the front door windows, original chrome, original rare 5 Speed Transmission. Back in the day the case was replaced by Porsche with a blanc case so Porsche Dealer can stamp the replacement engine case. Read the Appraisal comments ( in last 2 photos), this car could very well be the oldest most original 912 Porsche in existence.
Car runs beautifully. This car was insured for $385K back in 2017 to 2018 wile in exhibition for the Porsche Effect at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Last 2 photos is The Appraisal on the car (See insurance page as well at photos, it shows it was insured by the Museums insurance for $385K wile in exhebitionat the Petersen Automotive Museum).
After the $3.3Million dollar sale of the early 911 Porsche, it increased the value worldwide of any few survivors that exist from the first 100, 911 and 912 Porsches ever built. The first 100 356 Porsches have sold for up to $4.5 Million.
Per Racing Homologation rules back then, Car manufacturers had to make minimum 100 cars. From these 100, many raced crashed and disappeared. Only 6 are know to exist now 57 years later per Porsche Worldwide Registry.
From the 6 only 2 are ivory color with black interior which was the combination used for Media and Brochures. From the 100 only 11 were Ivory color, and only 4 were ivory with Black, only 2 were brought to the US with that combination from the 4.
Is a very good chance that this car was the car used for the media and brochures for the US (See Ferdinand Porsche in photos) posing with one of the 4 Ivory with Black 912's made from the 1st 100.
