Up for sale is my numbers matching 1993 Porsche 911 RS America / RSA. I have owned the car for approximately 5 years now. The car was purchased from its original owner in Washington State who removed the original seats and carpet before tracking the car locally. When I picked up the car it was a driving car, less the original seats, seat belts, carpet and other interior bits. The car needed to be restored (lots of rocks chips and scuffs from the track - no wrecks), so it received a glass out professional spare no expense paint job from a well known local Porsche body shop outside of Oregon. The front fenders, doors, hood and deck lid were professionally painted and installed by the body shop using original hardware with correct gaps. The car was repainted in the factory red. The engine was removed and fully rebuilt (split case) by a local well known Porsche engine builder and machinist from the 964 era that was part of the original Cup cars. The engine is currently still at the builders shop on the engine stand. The engine is complete, machined and assembled. A few parts (fan, 1 chain housing cover, some engine sheet metal etc) still need to be bought and put on. The engine rebuild was kept streetable and close to stock with just some tasteful improvements to give it a little kick. The engine will need to be installed. The car will need a full carpet kit, seats, seatbelts, rubber kit and door panels. The original plastics for the bumpers and rockers had enough rock chips etc that I was going to buy new after everything was completed. You will need to buy these plastic parts as they are not included with the car. The side door glass and quarter glass is included. The original windshield was discarded and I elected to replace the rear window as well so you will need to source these. Headlights and taillights included. The transmission functioned correctly when I drove it before restoration. I was going to have the transmission rebuilt while I was at it, but I have not had it checked out yet. The car comes with 2 sets of wheels. The original set of RS Cup wheels are included and have been painted black and have brand new high performance tires on them (they have never been installed on the vehicle). There is also another nice set of Porsche wheels on the car as it sets as a complete roller. One unique thing about this RSA is that it is one of only a few with 4 of 4 factory options. These options include Air Conditioning, Limited Slip, Radio, Sunroof. The sunroof panel has been painted and will need to be installed. I have lots of pictures from the entire restoration process. I am moving, which is the reason for the sale (time, money, space). I will need around 3 weeks to collect the engine, and misc parts to ready for shipping.
