*******1973 Porsche 914 2.0 ************* VERY RARE GREEN!VERY LOW RESERVESURVIVORTarga TopStick ShiftLook at the photos to see how nice this Porsche 914 is !! Car runs and drives! Some rust but a great survivor! One floor pan has been replaced and recent brake work done.******THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DESIRABLE PORSCHE 914 MODELS.
Car is in SOUTH CAROLINA.Collectors love this car because it has a 2.0 motorVery similar performance to the 914 6 but a lighter motor

Posted in photos is ENGINE MOTOR VERIFYING ITThe perfect balance and plenty of fun factor is how these 914 2.0 liters were advertised by Porsche. And that statement still holds true today. The 914 offered three 4 cylinder engine options; the 1.7 and 1.8 liter motors were inexpensive enough to attract the budget buyer, the that want to spend just a little more and have a car that was fun to drive in all gears optioned for the 2.0 liter. It had more total horsepower and more low end power in all gears, and it was also paired with a 5 speed gearbox giving it the ability to get out of the hole quick and achieve healthy triple digit top end.
The 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 liter offered here is a highly original example that sports an older repaint in its original factory color, code L 64 K Zambezi Green. The car is powered by its 2.0 liter engine (engine number GA014164), 5 speed gear box and rear wheel drive. The motor is fed by dual Weber carbs and managed by MSD ignition.
The interior is tan and appears to be all original. It does show expected wear and the original dash pad is a little stressed. The gauges are the original VDO and remain in very good original condition.
The engine area is clean and tidy. It is an older repaint and shows some chips, scuffs that are normal for its age.
The car starts with ease and pulls strong, and the brakes stop strong and straight.
The Porsche market continues to surge around the world, with that, the Porsche 914's have fallen into favor among driver enthusiasts. Their handling capabilities rival anything that is on the road today. The feel and driver feedback is direct creating a car and driver connection that cannot be duplicated in todays vehicles.

DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS !!

Note :Slight grind going into 2nd gear. Engine is a 2.0 Litre - currently has two VW 2.0L heads. I have the original 914 2.0L heads - one has a slight crack. I have another pair of Porsche 2.0L heads that have a fresh valve job and are ready to be installed. I bought the car in December and simply do not have the time to work on it. It needs a new interior and some body work. I have repaired the wiper motors and now they work fine. Previous owner rebuilt all four brake wheel cylinders.
