1980 Porsche 944

1985.5 Porsche 944, original guards red with black vinyl and pinstripe cloth interior. This is a Euro model with higher horsepower, imported new into California in 1985, import sticker in the driver’s door jam. This was a California car until I bought it and brought it to Oregon this year. This 944 shows just over 100,000 miles on the odometer and it runs and drives great. Clean title. No rust and no body damage etc.
New engine compartment fuel lines, reference sensors wiring harness, reference sensors, rebuilt fuel injectors, newer battery, new rear hatch pins, dme relay, air filter, spark plugs, fuel pump and fuel filter, front and rear hood struts. Good looking and good fitting dash cap added, hard to tell from original dash top.
Comes with original jack, spare tire and wheel larger 944 turbo front and rear sway bars which I installed.
The gray places are not primer they are bed liner, the previous owner owned a bed liner company and told me he was planning to spray the whole car with red tinted bed liner, apparently he was experimenting by spraying some bed liner on the car, there is paint under there and no bondo.
This car has a few issues or I would be asking more. The following do not work, front wipers (the rear wiper works), the electric windows, the odometer and I dont know if the air conditioner works. In addition to these things I dont have any history regarding the timing belt, I would plan to do that as soon as possible just to be on the safe side. The rear trunk carpet was bad and I added one from a 924, looks decent but is a different carpet pattern.
One of the last affordable Porsche’s and these are definitely going up in value and are getting harder to find.
In person inspections are recommended. I'm an honest seller and have attempted to describe the car accurately, that being said this Porsche 944 is sold as is, no warranty.
Lastly please do not bid unless you plan to pay right away and are ready and able to have the car shipped or are willing to come and get it within a week or so.
