Description:

1972 Porsche 911

1972 Porsche 911 Targa.Bahama Yellow/Tan Vinyl. We have a clear PA Title. The odometer shows 9,701 miles. The title is marked "Exempt Miles".

This was an A/C equipped car. The blower motor and evaporator are still in the well in the trunk floor. This is a rusty car that has damage to the right front suspension and inner fender. This will need floors, rockers, trunk and floor. This car was sitting in a field for too many years. Some parts are missing. Seats need recovered.Painted Steel Wheels. All Glass is in place. The back window is heated. The good news is that it is a1972 with the outside oil filler door.

Included is a 1973 Targa body shell. This car was in a garage fire and it has been media blasted to remove old paint and rust. Someone replace the nose (front 12" section) and you can see the seams where they welded the replacement. The main floor is solid. There are some rust holes under the rear seats. The passenger side rear quarter panel has dents from something falling on it. You will need to transfer the oil fill door from the 72 body. A quarter skin was installed on the driver side rear. There is a dent in the top of the dash where something fell on it.

The trans is a 901 type 5 speed

The engine is a 2.7 that is in pieces. I have laid out the engine on the floor and tried to line up the parts. Plan on replacing all wear items. It will probably need new pistons and cylinders. See photos

Plan to pick up the car at Anspach Autos 51 Main Street, Ono PA 17077 We can work with the buyer on shipping at their expense.
