Air cooled Porsches in general, nd 911 turbos in particular, re among the most rapidly appreciating on today's collectors' market. Desired for their engineering excellence, uperb construction and unrivaled driving experience, ir cooled turbos represent an outstanding investment as well being enjoyable to own. Introduced in 1989, he 965 variant is the successor to the legendary 930, nd features the same 3.3 liter flat six turbocharged engine, roducing 320hp. Porsche produced 3,660 for all markets between 1989 and 1992. This 1991 model is a "world" variant, riginally sold via a U.S. dealer to the first owner in Virginia. It was purchased by the second owner in 1993 and shipped to a buyer in Kuwait. It returned to the United States in 2002 to a private owner in upstate New York where it has remained since. The extremely rare, pecial order Zermatt silver (L92A) exterior is nearly flawless, nd it is an exceptionally high quality refinish of the original factory color. It was repainted in Kuwait at the request of the original owner prior to sale, nd has garage kept and covered since. The 964 wheels are original and also flawless, ounted with nearly new Michelin Pilot Sports. The gray interior is also nearly flawless, ith only a small amount of wear near the driver's power seat controls. The leather seats feature black suede inserts and show very little wear. An aftermarket stereo head unit it currently installed, hough the car does come with the original Porsche factory unit, ictured below, long with factory CD player "CD-1". This 911 has been driven a few hundred miles per year for the past 15 years, nd has current New York State inspection and registration.
