New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1980 Porsche 911 SC 2 Door Coupe with gorgeous Burgundy exterior paint and a black vinyl interior. You’ll find a powerful 3.0L six-cylinder engine under the hood with a 5-speed manual transmission and this desirable sports car is nicely equipped with power 4-wheel disc brakes, power windows, sunroof, and stereo and so much more. There’s a mere 15,781 miles on the rebuilt drivetrain as well and this desirable sports car is a whole lot of fun to drive.
Driven Only 15k Miles Since Rebuilt Factory Drivetrain
The current owner of this 1980 Porsche 911 SC Coupe took possession back in 1999 and he informs us that it was originally silver in color before being resprayed in the mid-90’s. He believes that this vehicle has approximately 90k lifetime miles and informs us that the engine, transmission and clutch were rebuilt in 2004. He’s also more recently installed a one-wire alternator, a new distributor and upgraded the wheels to Fuchs wheels off of a turbo example. This example has received plenty of TLC over the past 20 years and it looks really nice in person with only minor blemishes in the paint.
Additionally, this 1980 Porsche 911 SC Coupe offers very nice performance out of it’s six-cylinder engine with quick acceleration, great cornering and simply a dominant feel on the open road. Braking power is above average and we were certainly impressed by a thorough inspection under the hood since this appears to be a very nicely maintained classic. The vinyl interior is also in great shape with only slight levels of wear throughout.
