The all new new Turbo featured a final variation of the 3.6 liter M64 engine which now produced 360bhp at 5,500rpm. The 3.6 liter powered Turbo was produced only for the 1993/1994 model year, with fewer than 1,500 of them produced in total, making it one of the rarest and most sought after Porsches produced since the 959. Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6 VIN:WP0ZZZ96ZRS470533 This particular 964 Turbo 3.6 was originally special ordered by the Milan Porsche distributor in the late Spring of 1993. The car was competed in early June of that same year and invoiced formally on June 24th, 1993. The car was ordered in the very rare and strikingly beautiful color "Midnight Blue" with a matching dark blue interior in full leather. A total of 25 options were installed during this vehicle's assembly. Unlike the majority of the Turbo 3.6 models completed, this Porsche was purposely built as one of only 55 sunroof delete examples. This Porsche was first road-registered new on August 4th, 1993, the same day that Porsche records it sale and the initiation of the Factory warranty. The car would also receive and extended ten year warranty that would not expire until August 5th, 2003. After being sold and road-registered in Italy, this Porsche would remain there for just 18 months, at which time it was sold and then acquired on February 7th, 1995 by the Yamamoto Private Museum Collection. It was first road-registered in Japan later that month on February 24th, 1995 The car would remain corporately and privately owned over the next 25 years in Japan until our purchase earlier this month. This very rare configuration Turbo 3.6 is all matching numbers, rust and accident free. It is being sold with all services and safety checks current and fresh including new tires and the original radio fully refurbished.
