A truly stunning very early (12/21/1956) beehive 1957 Speedster built with the best of the 356/912 factory Porsche components. I have owned this 356 for over 30 years, I started with a very solid chassis (82851) with very little rust and no previous damage, original patched floors, battery box and outer longitudinals were replaced by Ted Blake in Sacramento, Ca. Slate gray single stage Glasurit sprayed on a laser straight body with very nice factory gaps. Replaced badly kinked hood, had rear deck lid louvered. Stunning blue leather interior by Russ Rodriguez, Glasspar hard top, choice of pristine high or low bow black stayfast soft tops. Custom nerf bars (factory bumpers included) All trim restored by Victor Miles (square door handles, shine down license plate light, etc.) Spyder steering wheel with pristine original horn button, gauges by Palo Alto Speedometer, New loom, all electrical components converted to 12V, LED lighting, NOS switches. Drive train comprised of 1967 912 engine built for longevity & performance using the best components, 741 transmission, late ZF steering box, 356C disc brakes, custom billet wheels (15 x 5.5) with fresh Vredstein185/70 tires, front sway bar, 741 short shift linkage. You get the picture, no corners cut here. Everything on this Speedster has been replaced with NOS parts or restored. This Speedster drives like a dream and connects you to the road like few other sports cars can. Commands attention wherever she goes, any time she is shown the peoples choice award follows her home.
