1985 Porsche 928 - supercharged

1985 Porsche 928 S

1985 Euro 928S. VIN# WPOZZZ92ZFS841054. I purchased from ebay about 3 years ago on a whim, and have driven it about 500 miles. It has a clean Texas title, located in Jacksonville, FL. It has been sitting in my garage taking up space, and will sell for loss. I am not a 928 expert! I purchased from someone who is, who rebuilt the motor prior to selling to me.
Apparently was a test vehicle for 928 Specialists. It has aged and is not perfect. The main problem is that when cold, the engine surges at idle, and car is undriveable... as when you let off accelerator, engine dies. I was told this could be a warm-up-regulator issue. I have not had time, or been successful in finding anyone knowledgeable enough to be able to even look at the car. If you are patient enough to let the v8 warm up, it drives without any problem, pulls hard, and will break the tires loose.
4.7L v8 - USA spec block with european heads [stock], US camshafts. New piston rings, bearings, head gaskets.1.7L 928 specialists supercharger - only 16v supercharger produced. car can be seen on their webpage [928GT.com].~350 rwhp @ 6psi. no intercooler.MSDS headers, 3inch single exhaust, no catalytic converters.Hawk brake pads. Upgraded front sway bar. Bilstein coilovers. New brake master cylinder [~2016]. PK tensioner. Momo manual seats. 930 steering wheel. Carrera 3 wheels [8x18 with 235/40, 11x18 with 295/35]. HID/LED lights.
Has been repainted, in great condition. Interior is aged, some interior parts have been recovered in vinyl. No dash cracks or damage.

I think this car is best bought by someone who knows their way around a 928 and can address the cold idle situation. I do have a video walk around from 12-26-19 of it while it is idling in my driveway that I can post or maybe email as well. Email all questions.
