Description:

1986 Porsche 928 S3

Up for sale, again (Previous buyer lacked...) is my total interior renovation of my Porsche 928. All new leather, door panels. Too much to list. Just view pictures or reply to me. In addition, I have added the future amenities such as the push button start, touch screen navigation, wireless charging system in center console and sound system. I have changed the motors to the power windows so that it would interact with the viper remote alarm system. My reasons for letting it go is simply that I have a family now. and that my priorities have changed. Engine runs great. Rear wheels still spins on second gear. 1st gear goes to 55 before red line. Ac just repaired. Sunroof still works. The mileage is less than 80,000 miles. My original tach just stopped working. Original body straight out of Porsche dealership in Stanford. I am the 3rd owner. Bought it from my Brother-in-law. I had sold this years ago and decided to buy it back from him. Missed it. No choice now. My son is more important. **** Please note that the mileage stated is based on the premise that my odometer/speedometer was not working properly. The mileage listed on the current odometer is 117000. I had a few inquiries. Therefore I am relisting based on the Carfax. But I stand by my Mechanic when I had done a major tune-up couple years ago when I had him also change the Air conditioner and shifter. ****
There has been considerable interest. I have added up close pictures of the body kit. As you can see, it was glued, riveted and molded to a seamless transition. The updated bodywork was done in a way that if it were to hit a pothole, the seam would not crack. And believe me, when I drive in the city of Philadelphia, there are a lot. I contacted the 2nd Owner (brother-in-law) and told me that he had bought it from Sunnyvale motors in California. sometime in 1989. The original fabricator was commisioned by the Porsche dealership in Oakland. Which included the borla exhaust, Momo steering wheel and Recaro seats (Which I had re-leathered).I have had this car since 1993? Probably put no more than 3000 on it. Just sending the car to get the interior upgrades. Like speaker grills molded into the door and rear quarter panels. Just the leatherwork alone cost me over $20000. Yes the roof including the sunroof is all new leather. The dash was separate($1500). Lastly the production date is March 1986. Which is a very desirable year. I think I have answered all the questions.
Thank you for your interest.
