1984 Porsche 911 Carrera

Elegant, sophisticated, timeless, a work of art...these are all words that have been used to describe the classic air-cooled 911, now it is your turn to get behind one of the most iconic sports cars ever built. For your consideration is this magnificent Porsche Carrera finished in its original Sheifer Blau (Slate Blue) Metallic color over navy interior with tartan seats inserts, a very classic and beautiful color combination.

-Exterior-

The body is in good condition with absolutely no rust on either to body, or chassis of including the usual places such as the trunk, battery tray and floors. The paint is older, with only a slight amount of crazing upon very, very close inspection, but presents extremely well. The car is further complimented by the factory perfect Fuchs which are wrapped in brand new Sunimoto tires. All of the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. The Targa top is in good condition inside and out and, most importantly it is weathertight.

-Interior-

The interior is in very good condition, the front seats have recently been reupholstered and look like new, the carpets are the original Sliverknit and show almost no wear. The door panels, map pockets and headliner are in very excellent original condition The leading edge of the dash is showing some slight warping. All of the gages work as they should.

-Engine & Transmission-

The engine was recently completely resealed, including the oil return tubes, naturally the oil and filter were changed at this time as well. The original, numbers matching, engine is in outstanding mechanical condition, the 3.2 power plant is perfectly tuned, starts right up on the first try each and every time, idles smoothly and runs as strong as it did when it was new. The heat exchangers were upgraded to stainless units some time back. This car is simply provides the driver with nothing but pure enjoyment behind the wheel.

This 911 does not burn or leak a drop of oil, even after sitting for weeks at a time, there this car does not leave so much as a drop of oil on the garage floor.

The ride in this 911 is great, the transmission shifts seamlessly through the all of the gears with no slipping or grinding. The car drives straight and true, there are no squeaks, strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six engine behind you.

This 911 comes complete with its original tool roll, jack, two sets of keys, books and free of any liens and is ready for a new owner.

Please note: To the best of my knowledge this car is not originally from California, it simply wears CA tags for aesthetic purposes.

Buyers are more than welcome, and even encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person, however I ask that all inspections be made prior to the end of the auction. I also ask that perspective buyers do all of their homework and due diligence before the auction ends and bid accordingly. Please do not assume anything and DO ask questions you might have in regard to this vehicle. Please remember that this is a vehicle that is 35 years old and even though it is in outstanding physical and mechanical condition inside and out, expect some normal wear and tear. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS, where is, with no warranty expressed, written, or implied. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal within 24 hours after the end of the auction, and winning bidder must contact me within 72 hours to arrange payment and shipping details.

The balance (certified bank/cashier's check, wire transfer or cash...in person) is due within 7 days after the end of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle is released. Buyers should have all financial resources available in order to meet the terms of sale!

Should the winning bidder need any special arrangements in terms of payment, please let me know in a timely manner, I will gladly work with buyers and accommodate any reasonable requests. Ifterms of sale are not met (deposit within 24 hours, and full payment within 7 days),that bidder will be reported to e-bay, and the car will be re-listed!!

Bidders with zero feedback are encouraged to communicate with me before placing a bid to avoid their bids being cancelled.

There is no "Buy It Now" price on this beauty, with that being said I am certainly willing to entertain reasonable offers, so please do not be shy about reaching out to me with an offer.

-Shipping-

This vehicle must be picked up within TWO weeks of auction end unless special arrangements are made with me in advance, I will gladly do whatever is in my power to accommodate the buyer.
